As we get older, years and decades of mechanical stress may lead to deterioration of joints, ligaments, and tendons. This degenerative process, commonly known as arthritis, primarily affects weight-bearing joints such as the hips and knees and those found in the lumbar spine. The shoulder, too, is especially prone to undergo arthritic changes owing to its extreme mobility. Back packs and school
Don't let your childs backpack attack their back. Make sure they wear the backpack over both shoulders. The weight of the backpack should be no more than 15% of their bodyweight. And be sure to bring them in to get adjusted, especially if they refuse and just wear it on one shoulder.
